Eco-Council  2025

The Eco Council applications have now closed and we have gone through process of short-listing.  We are pleased to announce that our Warriors for this year ;

Reception -Epifania

Year 2- Eleanor and Piper 

              Year 3- Medea, Tyreece and Reece

Year 4-Aiyla 

Year 6- Tamela, Oskar, Emilia and Esmee

Environmental Review & Action Plan

As part of their Chorley Council and Clayton and Whittle Alliance, the Eco Council have carried out an Environmental Review of the school. They have chosen to work on the following two topics: , biodiversity and waste. The children discussed project ideas for each of the two topics and created an Action Plan.

 

Eco-Code 

The Eco-Council wrote our school's mission statement. It outlines our school’s commitment to becoming a greener, more environmentally-friendly place.

Week 2 -Gardening Club 

The Eco-Warriors have launched an Eco-Promise for the school.  This week classes  are discussing their Eco-Promise, next week they will be displayed on our Eco Board.  Next half term on a weekly basis the warriors will class and monitor their progress.
